Corn on the Cob

Corn on the Cob Recipe. This is a quick and easy side dish. If fresh corn is not available feel free to substitute with frozen corn on the cob.

Ingredients
corn | 8 | shucked and silk removed - cut into 4 inch pieces |
water | 16 cups | enough water to cover the corn |
sugar | 1 1/3 Tbsps | |
butter | 1/4 cup | |
salt | 1 Tbsp | to taste |
Directions
- In a large pot boil the water and add the sugar.
- Place the corn in the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes
- Remove the corn from the water. Salt and butter each piece of corn.
Notes
You can add a little spice to the corn by dusting it with seasoned salt or chili powder and lemon.
