creme de cassis 1 tsp
champagne 3/4 cup
lemon zest 1 tsp to taste


  1. Pour the creme de cassis into a champagne glass.
  2. Add the champagne to the glass.
  3. Take a piece of lemon zest and gently twist and place on the rim of the glass.


To prepare the lemon zest take a vegetable peeler and gently peel the skin off a lemon. Using a knife slice off the ends lengthwise to get a uniform piece of lemon zest.
