Change to:
The classic Coleslaw recipe that has a place at every backyard party.


red cabbage 1/2 core removed and sliced thin
cabbage 1/2 core removed and sliced thin
carrot 4 peeled and grated
mayonnaise 1/2 cup
sour cream 1/4 cup
cider vinegar 2 Tbsps
sugar 2 Tbsps
salt 1/2 tsp to taste
black pepper 1/2 tsp to taste


  1. In a large salad bowl combine the red cabbage, cabbage, and carrots.
  2. In a seperate bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the dressing to the cabbage mixture and toss well.
  4. Cover with plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to overnight.


If you like a sweeter tasting coleslaw add more sugar to taste.
